Employment Opportunities

The ESC of Lake Erie West accepts employment applications year-round.  All vacant positions for the ESC of Lake Erie West and State Support Team Region 1 are posted on this web site. However, substitute teacher positions and classroom aides are hired through a different process.
All applicants must complete an online application. Paper applications are not accepted. Please do not mail, e-mail, fax, or drop off an application, resume, transcripts, letters of recommendation or other support documents unless specifically requested to do so. Additional information to support your application (e.g. cover letters, certificate/license, transcripts, resume, letters of recommendation) can be uploaded to your online application by following the directions in the application system.
Current college students should note we understand that you may be unable to transmit copies of teaching licenses and transcripts at this time. Lack of these documents will not prevent your application from being considered. You should upload these items to your application as soon as you receive them. Please do not ask your college/university to mail credentials directly to us.

You do not need to telephone our office to verify your application. You will be contacted if you are chosen for an interview.

The ESC of Lake Erie West does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex (including sexual orientation and transgender identity), disability, age, religion, military status, ancestry, genetic information, or any other legally protected category in its programs and activities including employment opportunities. The ESC of Lake Erie West complies with all applicable state and federal laws.

You will need an e-mail address and password to start an account. You do not have to complete your entire application at once. If you click "save as draft" you will have up to 25 days to complete and submit the application. Please be sure to include e-mail addresses for all references when available. When it is complete, click "finish and submit application." Your application will remain active for one year. You will be notified by e-mail when your application is about to expire so that you can reactivate it if you wish.
In order to ensure your application is as accurate as possible, we encourage you to periodically update your information. Don't forget to update address, phone and e-mail information for yourself and your references if they change. You may modify a submitted application at any time to add, change or delete information. Simply select the "Online Application Process" link below.
If for some reason you are unable to complete an on-line application, please contact Carolyn Chapman at 419-246-3112 or [email protected] so that we may assist you.
