Take your class on a simulated Journey to the International Space Station! Students will travel aboard the simulated space transport vehicle and dock with the International Space Station (ISS) as it orbits blue planet Earth at an altitude of 250 miles at a speed of 17,500 mph! Wow! What a ride!
The students will divide in to two groups, one to board the ISS and the other as a ground crew working in the ISS Lab. Halfway through the mission, the teams will change places, allowing for each crew to experience both the ISS and the ISS Lab. Once onboard the International Space Station, students will participate in a series of experiments and hands-on activities which help aid in further space science development. Onboard, the students become astronauts, scientists and mission controllers with an exciting mission at hand. This program is uniquely tailored to the specific grade level of the students and individual needs of the class! The ground crew will explore a hands-on activity while they await the space crew to change crews.
