ESC Compliance Officer

The Governing Board does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex (including sexual orientation and transgender identity), disability, age, religion, military status, ancestry, genetic information (collectively, "Protected Classes"), or any other legally protected category, in its programs and activities, including employment opportunities.

The ESC of Lake Erie West complies with Title II, Title VI, and VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Title IX of the Education Amendment Act of 1972, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, the Genetic Information Non-Discrimination Act, and the Age Act and the Family Education Rights and Privacy Act of 1974.

Board Policy

The Board has adopted the grievance process and procedures that provide for the prompt and equitable resolution of student and employee complaints alleging any action that is prohibited by Title IX and/or its implementing regulations. The grievance process and procedures are included in Policy 2266 - Nondiscrimination on the Basis of Sex in Center Programs or Activities.

Training Materials

Every ESC of Lake Erie West employee is required to complete Title IX training through the Vector Training platform.
