Scout Workshops

Scouting through Science!

Are you looking to take your scouting group on an exciting adventure and complete badges along the way!  Join your favorite science center in your badge pursuit!  We offer opportunities for Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts through workshops, Merit Badges and Journeys.  We require a minimum group size of twelve.  The cost for each workshop is $15.00 per scout. We also offer the Challenger Learning Center Mission Patch or the STS-51L Mission Patch to any Scout who has completed a program with us, the logo patch or the mission patch is an additional $5.00 per Scout.  The workshop is tailored to the Scout's unique needs for that program, Merit Badge or Journey and is 2.5 hours in length. Please note that some programs may require additional time and this will be discussed with your counselor.  
 
Our programs are led by qualified instructors and offered in cooperation with Boy Scouts of America Merit Badge Requirements and Girl Scouts of the USA program requirements. Documents

Each Scout will need a completed Media/Liability Release Form and Emergency Medical Form completed.  These forms are available for download below and must be brought the day of the Scout workshop.   Failure to bring the required forms will result in the program being rescheduled until all forms are completed.
 

Scheduling

Scout workshops are offered either individually or as a group.  To register for a Scout workshop, you must complete the registration form and then complete the payment form.  Upon successful completion of both, you will receive confirmation from our office.
