Most recently, she was an elementary principal and a junior high principal in a local district.

Elizabeth Kregel, Ph.D.  Elizabeth has been working in the field of education for fourteen years and has experience in middle school, high school, and higher education. She has served as a literacy coach, English teacher, assistant principal, academic coach, and professor in diverse settings that include public schools, private schools, and charter schools. Elizabeth’s Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction and Educational Leadership focused on new teacher retention and student engagement. Her doctoral work focused on the social, emotional, and academic needs of gifted students.

Melissa Romero, M.Ed. is a former teacher, principal, program director, and university professor. Melissa has worked with teachers at multiple levels from preschool, elementary, and student teachers in both public and private schools. Her Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education and Master’s Degree in Urban Educational Administration has supported her roles in educational consulting and training. She is an Ohio Approved, Step Up to Quality instructor and has presented at the Northwest Ohio STEM conference and the Ohio Chapter of the NAEYC.
