Interpreters

Our program is designed to meet the individual needs of the deaf and hard of hearing students within their language mode of American Sign Language (ASL), Transliterating, or Pidgin Sign English (PSE). Our licensed Educational Interpreter staff allows each student access to participate, feel included, be involved, and integrated into a general education classroom setting.

Educational Interpreters (along with the district educational team, the Teachers of the Deaf, and the Audiologists) are an integral part of the Multi-Factored Evaluation (MFE) and Individual Education Plan (IEP) team.
